University College London is located at the heart of London. You will have access to a globally unrivalled array of libraries and research and policy institutes, as well as world-class museums, cinemas, venues and galleries.
The MSc programme uses London as a key laboratory to introduce and explore a series of interconnected critical themes within Urban Studies. Recent field trips have included Battersea Power Station, Aldwych Station, Deptford Creek, the Brunswick Centre, Tate Modern, Hoxton and Shoreditch, the Barbican Centre and the 2012 Olympics site.
Much of the core teaching on the course takes place at 26 Bedford Way, part of the listed Grade II* Bedford Way building complex designed in the Brutalist style by the renowned British architect Sir Denys Lasdun (1914-2001).
