At UCL, we organise a range of online and in-person events for Year 12 students from the least represented groups in Higher Education. Our programmes aim to provide Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) on university application processes, pathways to university including support with choices, and life as a UCL student.
UCL Choices are A level subject-specific taster events, giving an insight into courses that you can study with your current A level subjects. For most degrees, all you need is an interest.
Masterclasses are a range of online, subject-specific, hour-long sessions for students in Year 12 running weekly from 4-5pm from January 2024 - April 2024.
Personal Statement Workshops are designed for Year 12 students to receive advice from UCL staff and students on how to write a personal statement and have the opportunity to visit the UCL campus.
Shape Your Success is a series of online information sessions for Year 13 students to get more guidance on the application process and university life.
