An interactive in person experience for Year 12 students to learn how different Medical Science fields connect together to tackle real-world problems.
Curious about Medical Sciences but not sure where to begin? Whether you are fascinated by how the body works or passionate about making a difference in healthcare, our Widening Access to Medical Sciences Taster Day 2024 is the perfect opportunity to explore the exciting Medical Science degree programmes at UCL (note: this does not include MBBS Medicine). Through fun, hands-on activities and interactive sessions, you’ll get the experience of how different Medical Science fields connect together to tackle real-world problems. This day is delivered in partnership with UCL's Pro-Provost (London) Office.

Date and Time
This event will take place Friday 1 November 2024 and will be in-person at the UCL Campus.
Eligibility
This event is open to students who are currently in Year 12 and are studying at a state school or college in the Greater London area.
Participants for this programme will be selected using the shortlisting criteria found on the Who we work with webpage to prioritise young people from the least represented groups. You will be awarded points based on the number of criteria that you meet. Applicants with the highest numbers of points will be offered the places available on the programme.
