Global Health Projects and Research

The unmet needs in fistula management and training are vast. Members of the FPMRS team have teamed up with EngenderHealth, UNFPA, RCOG and FIGO to develop a manual of competency-based surgical training in the field of FPMRS incorporating fistula surgery. It will follow the same principles of the FIGO and Partners Competency-based training in fistula surgery, developed, authored, and edited by Sohier Elneil in 2011:

The FPMRS manual involves working with partners in Africa and Asia and is funded by the Fistula Care + Project Team.
