Professor Bruce Kapferer, Honorary Professor at UCL Anthropology, will give the Huxley Memorial Lecture on Friday 16 December at 5.30pm, in the Stevenson Theatre, Clore Education
Centre, the British Museum.
A discussion of the history and contemporary place of the exotic in anthropology. The lecture addresses the question of the centrality of the exotic in anthropological analysis and its role in the distinctive contributions of the discipline.
