Our undergraduate degrees combine Evolutionary and Environmental Anthropology, Material Culture, Medical Anthropology, Public Anthropology and Social Anthropology in a single programme of study.
“I enjoy scuba diving so much that, for my first bout of individual anthropological research (ethnography), I did an embodied, multisensory autoethnography of the underwater world through scuba diving (and a lot of sitting at my local dive shop just observing). This is one of the things I love about my degree – the research and opportunities that arise from it can take you on real adventures." Caroline Sindig, Anthropology with a Year Abroad BSc 2022-26
I love this course because of how broad it is, incorporating the differing subjects of material, social and biological. As a student, no two days are the same. For example, in the morning you could be observing ape bones and in the afternoon using impressive camera equipment to record a short film around London. Also, London is just the most convenient and inspiring place to be a student!" Darcey Ducker, Anthropology with a Year Abroad BSc 2023-27
