All recruiters look for evidence of a range of skills that will make applicants effective in the workplace. Based on recommendations from the Institute of Student Employers, UCL Careers has put together this employer-led skills session programme.
This series of employer-led workshops, panel discussions and one-to-one coaching sessions will help you understand what recruiters are looking for and how to develop and promote your skills more effectively.
This programme is a joint initiative with the Students' Union UCL.
Talks and workshops
Led by a range of leading graduate recruiters, this series of panel-based question and answer sessions or more interactive, activity-based workshops will help you understand more about the range of key skills that employers will be looking for when they are recruiting students and graduates.

Assessment centres
If you expect to attend an assessment centre for either a graduate job or internship soon, these interactive half-day sessions will allow you to practice many of the group-based activities common to a typical assessment centre and receive feedback on your performance from graduate recruiters.
