The Centre for Population Research in Sexual Health and HIV aims to deliver world-leading multidisciplinary research on sexual health, including, but not limited to, STIs and HIV, that brings population benefit and impacts policy and practice, locally, nationally and internationally.
Strategic Priorities
Research
- To address key sexual health questions to inform policy and practice for the general population, specific communities, marginalised groups and service users.
- To continue to deliver a programme of high-quality research that benefits from uniting bio-behavioural, social, epidemiological, health service and public health expertise and perspectives.
Engagement
- To enhance existing collaborations and seek-out new partnerships within IGH, UCL, and the wider scientific community in order to strengthen the Centre's research portfolio.
Education
- To provide undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in multidisciplinary research methods applicable to the study of sexual health, STIs and HIV.
- To develop future leaders in sexual health research through supporting the teaching and training of postgraduate students, fellows, and early career scientists.
