Department for Infection and Population Health
The Department of Infection and Population Health applies robust population health methodologies/approaches to support a multi-disciplinary programme of high-quality clinical research across a range of infectious and non-infectious clinical conditions. The department includes experts in interventional studies and trials, cohorts/real-world evidence studies, large-scale population surveys and surveillance studies, social science research, molecular and ‘omics technologies, implementation science and mathematical modelling. Our research aims to understand more about the epidemiology, outcomes and care of clinical conditions in order to provide the evidence to support improvements in health and to guide policy.
