I am an alumna at the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities, Department of Information Studies.
As a part of my doctoral research, I developed a Web-based recommender system to explore its impact on the visitor experience. My study draws knowledge from the fields of Human-Computer Interaction, Experimental Psychology, Museum Studies, Data Science and Computer Science.
My main research interests are in the areas of recommender systems, machine learning, adaptive multimedia guides, HCI, UX/UI, Web and mobile app development for cultural heritage.

Timeline
February, 2022 - I was officially awarded with my PhD degree.
November, 2021 - I passed my viva with minor corrections.
November, 2019 - I attended the 1st International 'Alan Turing' Conference on Decision Support and Recommender Systems (DSRS-Turing 2019) at the Alan Turing Institute in London where I presented a paper 'Content-based Recommender Systems for Heritage: developing a personalised museum tour'.
2018/2019 academic year - I worked as a teaching assistant for the following modules: INST003: Information Systems, INST001: Database Systems and INST0032: XML.
December, 14th, 2018 - I successfully completed my upgrade from MPhil to PhD status.
September, 2018 - I attended the Mobile Human-Computer Interaction conference at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona where I presented a paper 'Towards Evaluating the Impact of Recommender Systems on Visitor Experience in Physical Museums' (Mobile Cultural Heritage workshop).

I am a member of UCL Human Informatics (UCLHI) research group that investigates the impact of technologies on users.
I was also involved in the CrossCult project to evaluate the performance of mobile application developed for the National Gallery in London.
In June, 2019, I joined King's Digital Lab as a Research Software UX/UI Designer.
In May, 2021, I joined the Natural History Museum as a Frontend Developer (Senior Software Engineer as of February, 2022).
