The 133 enslaved people on Kilgwyn were registered in 1819 in the parish of St Patrick by William McDonald, a net decrease of 3 was registered by him in 1821 when he was described as Manager, and further changes (1 birth, Rachel, whose mother was Chloe, and 4 deaths, Lloyd of leprosy, Jenny of dropsy, Cath[e]rine of bloody flux and Lucy of old age, at 92) were registered by him in 1821.
