Charles Snell of Austin Friars (as Charles Snell Chauncey) appears in Rubinstein Vol. 1 [1809/18] as West India merchant, son of William Snell and Martha Chauncey, marrying his cousin Amelia daughter of Nathaniel Chauncey and leaving £125,000.
