Very likely the Daniel Bernard Parnther, son of John Parnther and his wife Frances Ann Bernard, born in 1810 and baptised in 1811 in St James, Jamaica.
Bavid Bernard Parnther, theological student, arrived recently from England to occupy a station, under the auspices of the London Society for the Propagation of the Gospel, in the county of Megantic [Quebec, 1840]. In Montreal, Ontario, in 1844.
In 1851 David B. Parnther, age 40, curate at St John's Holloway, born Jamaica, was living at 40 North Tavistock Terrace, Islington, with his Jamaican-born wife Ann, age 39, Canadian-born adopted daughter Annie Osborn, age 8, a servant and a visitor named Charles Gauthey. Not identified in the 1861 census; Ann Parnther, missionary's wife, their daughter Annie and a female servant were living at 43 Andover Road, Islington.
Listed at City Line, St John, New Brunswick, in 1876. Rev. David Bernard Parnther, male, married, white, age 85 years, born Jamaica, died 29/08/1893 at Sydney, New Brunswick, buried at the Rural cemetery, St John, 31/08/1893. The Rev. David Bernard of St John's New Brunswick Canada clerk died 29 August 1893. Administration (with will) (limited) London 7 March to Charles Wallwyn Radcliffe Cooke esquire Effects £1200 19s 7d.
