Resident slave-owner and attorney on Grenada, dying there in 1830. A monumental inscription recorded in Grenada showed him (dying in 1830 aged 87) and his wife (Mary Ann, dying in 1827 aged 77) as both born in Antigua.
Father-in-law of Walter Cockburn (q.v.), Horsford's daughter being the Alicia Horsford or Cockburn given as the wife of Walter Cockburn in Cockburn's will.
Also father-in-law of Owsley Rowley (q.v.), husband of Horsford's daughter Christian (1777-1853).
