There is a list of enslaved people for the Dunfermline estate on Grenada July 1796 listed in the catalogue of the West India Committee Records at the Alma Jordan Library at UWI St Augustine, Box 13 Folder 19, https://uwispace.sta.uwi.edu/dspace/bitstream/handle/2139/13004/WestIndiaCommittee.html?sequence=3&isAllowed=y [accessed 24/08/2020]. LBS has not consulted this document, which might shed light on the ownership of the estate in 1796; the death in November 1799 at Dunfermline estate near Labay Grenada of John Richard Marlow, late of the English Exchequer, who had left England a few years since, 'to undertake a situation of some trust in that island' was recorded Gentleman's Magazine Vol. 88 October 1800 p. 1004.
