Mary Whitehorne Goddard, mother of Edward Gregory Morant Gale, widow of Edward Morant MP and daughter of James Goddard of Conduit Street and Jamaica.
- Will of Mary Morant widow of [Upper Seymour Street] St Marylebone proved 06/08/1812. In the will she left personal items to a range of friends including minor aristocrats. She said that by an agreement entered into by her and her son, after her death her estate in Jamaica was to be given up to Mr Beeston Long to secure her son's debt to the house if the debt had not been liquidated by the time of her death: the agreement allowed her to leave £500, which she did, between her friends, expressing the hope that she would not have to avail herself of this power.
