Biography

Slave-owner on St Kitts, dying in England c. 1778. Son-in-law of Lewis Feuilleteau (q.v.).

  1. Will of Richard Wilson of Charlotte Street Middlesex proved 15/07/1778. In the will he left £2000 in trust for his daughter Eleanor Brotherson, and rehearsed the marriage settlement of his son Richard Wilson junior and Margaret Halliday under which he had the power to will £10,000 to be raised on estates in St Kitts and he divided the £10,000 among his younger children (Margaret Halliday's father John Halliday of Antigua, according to the latter's will, had given the couple £20,000).
