Elizabeth Tayler, daughter of Thomas Weir Tayler, owner of Auchenbeddie (then in St Elizabeth), and Ann Pierce, "a free mulatto", born 02/06/1788 and baptised 21/10/1790 in St Elizabeth, Jamaica, the same day as her mother and her sister Margaret. Described as "residing in England" in the slave register of 1817. Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson of the town of Alford in the County of Lincolnshire in the will of her father, written in 1819.
Elizabeth Taylor of St Mary Magdalene married Charles Wilson of Alford in Lincoln 06/04/1818 (her signature here is similar to that of Eliza Taylor, witness at the marriage of her sister Margaret in 1814). Mary [sic] Wilson, age 40, born foreign parts, living at Bridge Street, Alford, in 1841 with Charles Wilson, a shoemaker, Thomas Wilson age 15, a shoemaker's apprentice, Ann Wilson age 20 and Margerett Wilson age 15. Elizabeth M. Wilson, age 52, born Jamaica, living at Camleys Yard, Alford, in the census of 1851, with husband Charles, a cordwainer, daughter Ann Eliza, age 29, born Alford, a dressmaker, and daughter Margaret, age 23, born Alford, a shoebinder. Eliza M. Wilson, age 65, married, born East Indies [sic], living at Stainton's Yard, Alford, in the census of 1861 with husband Charles Wilson, a shoemaker and daughter Margaret, age 28, born Alford, a shoebinder. Betsy Wilson, married, age 75, shoebinder, born Jamaica, who was living at Stainton's Yard, Alford, in 1871, with her daughter Margaret.
