Henry Highatt Esquire and Rebecca Bell Virgo spinster, both of Trelawny, were joined together in Holy Wedlock 22/03/1803. John Stogden Highatt, the son of Henry Highatt Esquire and Bell his wife was born 11/10/1804 and baptised 24/12/1805.
Henry Highatt, eldest son of the late Richard Highatt of Bristol, died at Martha Brae, Jamaica, 23/10/1810. Elizabeth, widow of Richard Highatt of Bristol, daughter of the late J. John Stody of Jamaica, died 23/03/1812 at Bristol.
Henry Highatt Esquire aged 33 years, was buried at Clifton Estate, 26/01/1810.
Administration of the will of Henry Highatt of Trelawny, Island of Jamaica [made in 1810 and attested in 1813] granted 16/06/1824. He left monetary legacies of £400-£500 each to friends in Jamaica and the rest of his estate in trust for his son John Stogdon Highatt at 21, commenting that his wife Rebecca Bell Highatt was well provided for under their marriage settlement.
He was probably the Henry Highatt, son of Richard and Elizabeth Highatt, baptised at St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol, 15/11/1779.
