???? - 1885
Daughter of Herbert Newton Jarrett IV and Anne Jarrett (nee Stephens), and beneficiary of £10,000 under her parents' marriage settlement of 1801. She married Rev. William Gooch 09/07/1822 at St George Hanover (Rev. William Gooch was Vicar at Stainton in Yorkshire 1833-76 and Prebendary of York 1845-1876). A Miss Ann Jarrett was shown as the owner of a group of enslaved people attached to Kent estate in Trelawny (an estate owned by Herbert Newton Jarrett IV's family) between 1817 and 1823 (she had sold them by 1826): it is likely but not certain that this slave-owner was the same woman as Anne Gooch nee Jarrett.
