With over 170 people making up the Department of Political Science including academic, teaching, and research staff, professional services, and MPhil/PhD students, the Department has an impressive research portfolio and teaching programme. We are independent and non-partisan, and the centre of a wide network of national and international experts.

We have a passionate group of academic, teaching and research staff, whose research and teaching expertise spans the breadth of the political science discipline.
