Iurii’s research centres around the question of how governments use their educational systems to achieve political goals.
Biography
Iurii is a PhD student at the Department of Political Science. He holds an MSc in Education (Research Design and Methodology) from the University of Oxford and a BA in Sociology from the Higher School of Economics. His doctoral thesis, supervised by Prof. Christian Schuster and Prof. Kristin Bakke explores how authoritarian regimes use their educational systems to achieve political goals.
