Timetables and academic support

Timetables

Module timetables will be emailed to you one week before the Summer School begins.

It is not possible to make them available sooner than this as the Summer School uses one classroom for two modules: one module uses the room in the mornings and the other module uses the room in the afternoons. We therefore have to wait until we know final numbers on modules and then match them to appropriately sized rooms.

However, for the purposes of planning, you should assume that you will have classes for three to four hours a day (either in the mornings or in the afternoons) and that outside this time there will be independent learning, either individually or in groups, so you will be busy for most of the day from 09:00 to 17:00 or 10:00 to 18:00.

Moodle

Moodle is UCL's online learning space, used to support your face-to-face teaching. It includes a wide range of teaching and learning resources, assessment guidance and marking criteria.

You will be able to access Moodle when you have completed your pre-enrolment process.

You will have access to two Moodle courses:

1) The UCL Summer School 2024

Here you can find general information relevant to all Summer School students

  • Please watch the welcome video from the Head of the UCL Summer School

  • Please follow the guidance to update your Moodle profile to help others on the programme get to know you

2) Your module Moodle page

Here you can find information specific to the module you will be taking on the Summer School:

  • Timetable

  • Syllabus

  • Assessment details

  • Further resources will be uploaded as the module progresses

Once you have set up your UCL account, you will be able to log in to Moodle with your UCL ID (e.g. ucaaxxx) and password.

Academic Integrity

UCL requires high academic standards to maintain trust and confidence in our world-leading research and teaching, as well as the individuals who work and study here.

To be successful on the Summer School you must develop good academic practice skills and avoid any type of Academic Misconduct.

Please read UCL's page on Academic Integrity to learn more.

Then complete UCL’s online and self-paced course to help you understand Academic Integrity.
