Awarded the compensation with Thomas Picton Clapham and Henry Charles Clapham as assignees of John Henry Clapham, assignees of a mortgage dated 14/11/1825  £8016 13s 4d. Presumably the three awardees were brothers, sons or nephews of John Henry Clapham.

  1. John Henry Clapham, for many years Rector of the Port of Spain, and Rector of Isfield Sussex ('to which he was collated by Abp Moore in 1792'), died in Trinidad aged 76 c. 1835.

  2. William Henry Clapham was shown at 29 Great Portland Street in 1835 and identified as a solicitor at the same address in 1838.

  3. In 1851 William H. Clapham aged 49 'Attorney and Solicitor' born St James Middlesex was living at High Street Watford with wife Elizabeth aged 34 and his sister-in-law Ellen Ann aged 40.
